ASTI warns there can be no cutbacks after Covid

There will be no cutbacks launched by Authorities when the present Covid-19 pandemic is over, second degree lecturers have insisted.

The final secretary of the ASTI (Affiliation of Secondary Lecturers Eire) Kieran Christie instructed the union’s annual convention that the extra degree of funding out there to varsities to cope with the present disaster should be the baseline for the long run.
