Fernando Tatis Jr. exits game with apparent injury

Everybody related to the San Diego Padres discovered themselves holding their collective breaths on Tuesday afternoon. 

Per AJ Cassavell of the official MLB web site, Padres star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. exited Tuesday’s recreation versus the Cincinnati Reds after he suffered an obvious damage making a protracted throw to first base.

Cassavell added that the 22-year-old was seen “strolling gingerly” as he exited the ballpark whereas accompanied by a member of San Diego’s medical employees. There is not any replace on Tatis’ standing as of late Tuesday afternoon apart from that he was being examined. 

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune defined that Padres’ officers have been initially involved about Tatis’ left shoulder. “His gait appeared regular as he made his manner alongside the precise area line,” Acee wrote. 

Again in February, Tatis agreed to a 14-year, $340 million extension to stay with the Padres for the foreseeable future.
